We can no longer cut off or ignore the symptoms of the body without causing more damage to our physical mental and spiritual health. We will discuss Ayurveda tools for each ascendant as it applies to the doshas and the spring season.
In this discussion, we will look at how the healing arts of Ayurveda, Jungian Psychology, and Astrology can support us as we move through the constant and sometimes turbulent changes in life. Eclipses can be specifically challenging times when we need to take extra care and nourish and nurture our body and spirit. Ayurveda and Jyotish can help us navigate balancing the dark and light, our humanity and our divinity. In this discussion, we will examine the upcoming eclipse season and discover ways we can harness this time as a restart for our individual and collective consciousness.

About the Instructors
Dr. Nibodhi is a board-certified Traditional Naturopath and Ayurvedic Medical Practitioner. In India he is a licensed Doctor of Alternative Medicine, Doctor of Acupuncture, and has studied Jyotish with an emphasis in medical astrology. He is also certified in Vedic psychology/ counselling, clinical nutrition, & yoga/ yoga therapy as well as numerous other healing modalities. He is the author of six books on health and consciousness.
Since 2004, he has run a non-profit, 100% charitable clinic in India and he offers health, lifestyle and spiritual counseling and guidance throughout Europe, Australia, Canada, and America as well as online.
Sherene Vismaya, M.A. is a Jungian psychoanalyst, astrologer and author who specializes in the intersection of depth psychology,astrology and movement. She is the founder of Project 40, an online community devoted to Jungian Alchemy and the path of Individuation and the author of several books, including Speculation Now; Transpersonal Astrology: Explorations at the Frontier, & Surviving Saturn's Return (McGrawHill), Dog Stars(Penguin) and Fate of your Date (Chronicle Books). She holds a Master's Degree from New York University in Clinical Psychology, a Masters in Developmental Psychology from Pace University and post-graduate work in psychoanalytic studies from The New School and ISAP, Zurich. She has been the Resident astrologer for ElleUK since 2005.
Her work explores the ways in which astrology can be used as a tool for growth, self-discovery and healing. She specializes in depression, addiction, creative blocks and anxiety. She draws upon the principles of Jungian psychology, somatic healing and Eastern spirituality to help individuals connect with their authentic selves to achiever a greater sense of wholeness. She has been a psychoanalyst and practioner of astrology for twenty-five years and has lectured and taught at conferences and institutes around the world. Her work has been featured in various publications including, The Mountain Astrologer, Elle UK, Bust, Time Out: New York, Psychology Today, Vera List/New School, Teen Vogue and she is widely regarded as one of the leading experts on Jungian astrology.
Sherene has been in private practice in NYC, San Francisco for the past 25 years consulting, writing and teaching. She currently resides in India where she is deepening her studies in Vedic astrology and Eastern spirituality.
